Architectural Planning
One of the first things we establish is the type of building and the available budget. These are two fundamental factors that shape the design process and the scope of our cooperation.
A building is influenced by many external factors that need to be considered in the design, including the characteristics of the site, soil conditions and the requirements of the local zoning plan. In my projects, I often refer to local traditions and believe that contemporary architecture should draw from regional materials and the character of its surroundings. This approach is not only more authentic, but can also be more sustainable and help reduce unnecessary costs.
Planning is a process that requires the involvement of everyone taking part in the project. I always emphasise that the final design is the result of the designer’s experience combined with the client’s needs, expectations and decisions.
